Once on board the boat, your instructor gives you a thorough safety briefing that covers equipment use, interacting with marine life, and hand signals. After your briefing, you're taught a few safety skills you will be required to do in shallow water before going on the tour portion of the dive. We make sure everyone is comfortable in shallow water before taking you to explore the underwater world.
Intro to Hawaii Scuba Diving Tour
After completing the skills and taking some time to get comfortable in shallow water, your instructor takes you on a Private Discover Scuba Tour to see all of the beautiful creatures that live just below the surface of the crystal clear waters of Oahu. Hawaii has a plethora of exciting and beautiful marine creatures that will be right before your eyes during your beginner scuba adventure. These include giant green sea turtles, reef fish, octopus, eagle rays, and even the occasional, friendly reef shark! Get ready for an experience you will never forget!
Our discover scuba tour is three and a half hours long and designed for non-divers who want to try scuba diving in one of the most beautiful diving destinations around.
Here are some must-knows about your Discover Scuba Diving Adventure:

Please be advised of all safety rules and regulations before booking your dive. You will be required to sign a Discover Scuba Diving registration, medical evaluation forms, and scuba diving liability release. If you answer YES to any questions on the medical statement, you will need a WRITTEN doctor’s release before diving.
