We are by reservation ONLY and are not in the park at all times. We are an outside company so please do not call the park or ask Park Rangers where to find us, they will not know.
Our beautiful new launch location is an even shorter drive from Orange Beach, and just a few extra minutes from Gulf Shores. It is absolutely worth the short drive even if you’re staying in Gulf Shores! It is just out of the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach proper and is truly a hidden oasis tucked just outside of the main touristy areas so you will be sure to experience peace and serenity while on the water! We can’t wait for you to experience this incredible new spot with us!
Please note this is a NEW location as of Fall 2026 so if you have attended a class or tour with us before please note WE ARE NO LONGER RUNNING THESE CLASSES ON LITTLE LAGOON IN GULF SHORES
Our new location is MORE beautiful, MUCH nicer waters, and has so much more to offer! If for some reason you still want to paddle at the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, yes we can accommodate this, but unless you’re staying in Fort Morgan, we do not recommend this as our new location is incredible. Guests enjoy a 1 hour SELF GUIDED kayak rental at the Big Lagoon State Park. We still offer kayak rentals in Gulf Shores at the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge on Little Lagoon by special request only. Enjoy the calm waters of this beautiful beach while kayaking with family and friends and looking over the amazing views. This location is a local best kept secret and away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores proper.

Please also note: We only offer morning rentals by reservation only as in the afternoons the winds pick up making unsafe (and not fun) for kayaking on the Gulf Coast
What’s included
- Tandem Ocean Kayaks (we do have a few singles if you have an uneven amount of people joining)
- Life jackets
- Dry bags, cell phone cases available for purchase at checkout
- Shoreline delivery so no having to deal with transporting the kayaks on your own!
- Mini Lesson and directions on the best spots to kayak in Big Lagoon State Park
- Guides stay on site while your are out, help you launch, and make sure you are safe while you explore at your own pace.

- Best place for birding in near Orange Beach and Gulf Shores
- Plenty of wildlife for your viewing pleasure
Please note:
- Minimum of 2 people per booking, Large groups welcome!!
- – – Advanced reservations are required, same day rentals not accommodated.
- Tandem Ocean Kayaks and all safety equipment provided
- If some guests want to kayak and some want to paddle board that is absolutely ok with us!! Simply book each item separately and make sure to pick the same time and location!
- All rentals are subject to wind and weather conditions.

- Pelicans
- Gulls
- Rays
- Many different species of fish and other birds
Please note: rentals must be booked by 5pm the evening prior but the sooner the better as we may cancel any dates at any time if no one is signed up. This also helps us look ahead and make sure you are booked on a good wind and weather day! We do not offer full day rentals due to the unpredictable wind and weather along the Gulf Coast. We also do not recommend this activity mid day or afternoon as the winds and heat index can be very high and unsafe. We care about your safety and do our best to make sure each guest is well taken care of and can have a safe and fun time on the water! This means that some days and times will not be available.
