Due to staffing issues, our kayak tours have an extremely limited availability. IF YOU ARE COMFORTABLE IN THE WATER, AND EVERYONE IN YOUR PARTY CAN SWIM, YOU DO NOT NEED A GUIDE FOR THIS LOCATION. VISIT OUR KAYAK RENTAL PAGE FOR THE SELF GUIDED OPTION AND EXPLORE THIS BEAUTIFUL NATURE PRESERVE AT YOUR OWN PACE. We recommend this option for most anyway and we tell you exactly where to go and what to do in the pre-paddle safety briefing. We also help you launch the kayaks and give you a mini lesson on kayaking. Self guided rentals available daily!
All tours and rentals are now done on Little Lagoon in the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, Gulf Shores. Please do not use our online or Google Maps address…instead follow the link in your confirmation emails to the location.
Reservations are required.
Rentals include
- Tandem Ocean Kayaks (we do have a few singles if you have an uneven amount of people joining)
- Life jackets
- Dry bags, cell phone cases (available for purchase)
- Pick up at the waters edge at our Little Lagoon location
- Mini Lesson and directions on where to go, what to see, and how to make the most of your time in the lagoon
- Help getting into and launching your kayaks
- Upon return, you leave the kayaks at the waters edge and you’re free to go enjoy the rest of your day!

Please also note: During summer months we recommend the 8 or 9am am time slot before the heat index gets too high.

If some guests want to kayak and some want to paddle board that is absolutely ok with us!! Simply book each item separately and make sure to pick the same time and location!
Kids and teens especially love getting our digital photos package where they can get some exciting shots for their favorite social media pages. Gulf Shores kayak tours are available 2 days a week and all year long! Mornings are better before the wind picks up and it gets too hot.

Please note: Tours must be booked by 7pm the evening prior but the sooner the better as we may cancel any dates at any time if no one is signed up. This also helps us look ahead and make sure you are booked on a good wind and weather day!
